How to Enable or Disable Fast User Switching in Windows 10 If you have more than one user account on your PC, Fast User Switching is an easy way for you to switch between accounts or for another user to sign in to Windows without signing you out or closing your apps and files. If you like, you can disable Fast User Switching to hide the Switch user interface (entry points) for all users. TeamViewer Host is used for 24/7 access to remote computers, which makes it an ideal solution for uses such as remote monitoring, server maintenance, or connecting to a PC or Mac in the office or at home. Install TeamViewer Host on an unlimited number of computers and devices. As a licensed user, you have access to them all! Jan 18, 2018 Head to System Preferences, and then open the “Users & Groups” panel. In the “Users & Groups” panel, click the “Login Options” option. Settings here will be locked (grayed out), so click the lock icon at bottom-left and enter your password. Then turn on the “Show fast user switching menu as” option.

In Mac OS X, a feature called fast user switching allows you to simultaneously log into two or more OS X accounts on one computer, and switch quickly between them. To enable and use fast user switching:

- From the Apple menu, select System Preferences...
- In System Preferences, from the View menu, select Users & Groups (Mac OS X 10.7 and later) or Accounts (Mac OS X 10.6 and earlier).
- If the padlock in the bottom left-hand corner of the window isclosed, click it and authenticate with your administratorlogin information.
- On the bottom left side of the window, click LoginOptions.
- On the right side of the window, check Show fast user switching menu as: (Mac OS X 10.6 and later) or Enable fast user switching (Mac OS X 10.5 and earlier). If a sheet then drops down, click OK. Choose one of the options to determine how the user switching icon appears in the menu bar.
- To log into a different account, click the fast user switching icon in the menu bar, and from the pull-down menu that appears, select theaccount you wish to log into.
- When prompted, provide the password for the account. It may take amoment for the login process to complete. After this, the screenwill rotate and the other account will become dominant.
- To access the first account, or to log into a different account,repeat steps 6 and 7, selecting the appropriate account.
